So far, so good! I continue not to be contacted.

In about a year my high school graduating class will more than likely have their twentieth class reunion.

Exactly as I did with the ten-year reunion I’ve made it abundantly clear that I do not wish to be contacted over this and have no interest in attending it or keeping in touch with anyone from my actual graduating class. There’s an actual note in my high school records that I’m not to be contacted by them for any reason after graduation, one that the principal of the school — at the time — put in there herself at my request. It indicates that any attempts to contact me after graduation or invite me to class reunions will be treated as harassment, and I still don’t want to be contacted by any of them. I am missing out on absolutely nothing.

It seems that a lot of people from my graduating class are friends with each other on social media, but I’ve been content only having friended one person from high school that didn’t even graduate with me. About a year and a half after high school graduation people from my graduating class finally seemed to get the hint that I didn’t want to continue to correspond with my graduating class and stopped trying to friend me on social networking sites. It’s nothing malicious on my end, it’s just that I didn’t spend a significant amount of time while I was in high school attempting to make friends with them, and it had actually gotten to the point where I had separate points of contact for people that I went to school with and everyone else. I didn’t like being contacted by that many of them when school was not in session, although it took nearly four years to drive the point home to the point they are not attempting to contact me now to get me to join Facebook groups or RSVP for the next reunion. If any of them attempted to contact me I would block them on sight.

Now we’re actually making substantial progress!

Bub’s games have been loaded onto the gaming laptop! All I have left to do is defragment the HDDs that are in it or hooked up to it, both of which being low on space due to his games… that will free up some more space, and then consider looking for a folding table or laptop desk that can be kept in one of our bedrooms to facilitate easier use of the laptop — as it stands right now, making room on the desktop computer’s desk to use the laptop is onerous, requires some effort, and is almost like playing a real-life version of Tetris

Yeah, we’ll have to improve the layout of at least my room to make gaming on everything in here feasible.

I also pre-ordered a few video games for Bub that will release on or around Christmas, and at that they’re ones that he is really, really going to like. And I pre-ordered him an Atelier remake that’s supposed to come out in a… week… or two? And to finish off his birthday, I am considering getting him a copy of Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin on Steam so he can play it whenever he wants on the Steam Deck. He currently has a copy of it on Epic Games right now — that was the first gaming app it was released on.

I am almost finally done updating the laptop!

I’m still going to have to get larger hard drives for it at some point in the future, but so far this is progress.

All of his Battle.Net games are loaded onto it and all of the EA games he has are loaded onto it. I’m just shuffling things from Steam around on the three available hard drives, and that seems to be giving me a bit of wiggle room to get all of these games of his onto this computer. His PC game collection has slowly and steadily grown over the years, and I use the laptop for other reasons in the event I need to be able to use — or do something on or with — another computer, so it certainly has its purposes. Bub has known that I’ve been downloading his games onto it for a day now and is happy as long as I continue to do that for him.
