I remember watching this movie when it came on while I was in high school, and the one and a half series of the television show that followed. The actor that played Jason “Q.T.” McKnight died in… I want to say, 2001? And he was a few years older than me, so he should be in his early forties and definitely should still be here.
As a matter of fact, I even own the book that he co-wrote with his grandmother about his cancer journey.
I’ve been trying to post this song here in my blog for… hours, and YouTube selectively refuses to load specific videos I want to watch. This is getting increasingly more annoying, because it honestly feels like I’m going to have to reset the modem at some point along with having the air conditioner looked at since it’s begun not to sufficiently cool the house according to the settings it’s been on for as long as we’ve needed to have it run…
The 3rd Birthday actually butchered Maeda’s character, but I can’t deny that the soundtrack is amazing.
Not a whole lot of people think this, but the 2002 version of the Carrie movies has long been my favorite.
I don’t think that any of the movies are bad, though. This one just happens to have my favorite plot changes.
I watched this movie when I was growing up, and I remember it. To me, it was as good as the Carrie movie that was out at the time (don’t we have a few more remakes of that now, though?). I felt for Rachel Lang.
