Good news, everyone! I ordered the Steam Deck!

I finally found a Steam Deck whose price wasn’t absolutely prohibitive given that these things sell out worse than the PlayStation 5, and I ordered it for Bub’s birthday! He’s going to love this! When it comes to the house, I’m going to load up all of the Steam games he already owns onto it and then hold onto it until his birthday when I will then give it to him. He already knows that I’m getting it for him though (that was actually how I figured out that he wanted one, or would like to have one all to himself… sort of like the rest of the mobile gaming consoles that are here in this house). Once it actually gets to this house I’ll make it a formal tag on this blog as I’m loading it up. I’m sure that process alone will take some time, even if I got Bub a 1TB microSD card to go into the microSD slot that these things come with to maximize the amount of space that he has available. I figured to go hard, then go home getting him the one with the most space.

I mean, I should really have expected this too.

Bub and I are sick with… something. It is not COVID. We’ve tested for COVID with some of the tests that we have here at the house and both of them are negative. If we continue to have concerning symptoms I will have both of us antibody (or is it antigen?) tested. This will be particularly concerning for me if I have it.

I am also continuing to get severe migraines on Lexapro that are only touched by prednisone, and this is not sustainable for long periods of time. I’m starting to wonder if this medication is… just not right for me, because we might have to throw pain medication at it just for me to be able to tolerate it, and then that’s going to start a chain of events that might interact with other medications that I am on that I need to be on.

Good god, I have a teenager over here…

I happened to get this picture before Monster’s well appointment, and getting Bub the Pfizer shot, and it was just so hilarious that I could not possibly pass it up. This child is seriously so much… me, though. Seriously…
