I’m beginning to feel more affected by whatever this is I’m currently fighting off.
This is going to be another one of those short posts.

I took this picture as James and I waited for him to be seen by his pediatrician following the bee or wasp sting that I mentioned. He was not amused and continues not to be amused by as it as it heals. Since it seems to be healing slowly I’m thinking about getting him back in with his pediatrician or having him seen by urgent care if it needs to be drained. We’ll do whatever it takes to see to it that his cauliflower ear heals…

Tired memes have nothing on the face of this boy when he is actually tired, folks. They have nothing on it.
It is to my understanding that my youngest son’s paternal grandfather is on a ventilator, and he’s five years and some change out from pancreatic cancer… so things aren’t looking good for him. That said, I attempted to reach out to my son’s grandmother and offer the family FaceTime with James if their patriarch is indeed in the Intensive Care Unit (I mean, where else would you be if you were on a ventilator?). I don’t expect the grandmother to respond to this the same way she’s refused to respond to all of my civil, polite inquiries and statements… but I felt like I had to make the offer and put it out there. I’m going to be the villain in their story no matter what because they are that determined to make me one, but the least I can do is make that difficult for them to do. I’m honestly going to be surprised if the old man survives this given his track history.
