Now that we’ve gotten Mother’s Day out of the way (as well as the almost obligate “pet moms”), I can write!
I’ve been trying to get in touch with someone that I did SEO work with awhile ago. I stopped doing that on good terms with the company… or so I had thought. A few months ago I decided to try and shoot my shot to see if I could resume doing SEO work for them and they have responded to precisely zero of my messages when I inquire about easy-to-implement disability accommodations. In hindsight, this really should not surprise me, especially with the United States’ current president and his political party. In chronicling this on my social media I have had to describe what the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) is and what reasonable accommodations are. Some of the accommodations I request are in regards to being the caregiver of autistic and intellectually disabled children, so I do need to be given some additional time to perform tasks that have nothing to do with them and everything to do with me. And still… absolute crickets.
It would genuinely be really awesome if I could resume work with this company, but I digress.

This is the tattoo that my late friend Katie got. I’d like to get it on myself one day for obvious reasons…
