My family’s court-appointed attorney has been trying to keep us as updated on the case with the man who killed my oldest son’s father as their office has been able, owing to one changeover already… I can see why this practice burns people out as quickly as it does but am not going to let that deter me from what I want to write about here. It honestly does seem like the offender stopped cooperating with the judicial system over the plea bargain he was offered and they haven’t been able to find him yet. For a little while they might have, or it might have been an error in the governmental site updating, but the case — active though it may still be owing to this — has not been updated because the judicial system in that area has not been able to find him to continue processing it.
