This was my jam growing up. I have such fond memories of Freezepop and, well, everything associated.

While I’m synchronizing and optimizing games…
I am done with everything except Steam, because of course… I mean, it’s Steam here. Come on.
In the interim, I am manually synchronizing and optimizing everything so that Bub (maybe I should say the kids’ first names one day, I’ve done it everywhere else)’s computer continues to run in an expedient, quick manner. So far we are doing good on that end! One of the monitors will have to be replaced since the third monitor prematurely died of old age, and I’m thinking about recalibrating the dimmed lights in my room for the sake of migraines. I suppose I’ll have to see how that goes. I’ve been taking a bit of a break from streaming, working on networking behind the scenes since I desperately want to be out of Texas one day.
One day later, this computer is almost reloaded!
I chose to reload the games on here since the Windows AI (and some of the AI that run in the background of some of these gaming apps) is not exactly the best at organizing games, especially as they relate to crossing multiple hard drives. In our case, that would be multiple external hard drives. I am a lot less reluctant to allow the AI to have control over anything when I’ve seen the overcrowding that can result as these apps, and this operating system, strive to fill hard drives as full as they possibly can with the computer acting surprised that suddenly one or more hard drives has zero bytes when this computer has done this to itself. More than once.
As of the time I’m writing this, everything but Steam has effortlessly reinstalled! This… does not surprise me.
Optimizing this computer’s hard drives because…
Why not?
Besides, the Windows AI (whatever you want to call it) is not efficient at optimizing space.
That was what caused the problem the first time around, so now I’m just doing everything by hand.
That seemed to work better than I’d thought!

I didn’t have to tear this thing apart quite as badly as I had thought. I fixed the computer and I am happy!
