If you don’t think the news regarding… the Discord server that I’ve been complaining about can get any worse, moderators literally turned blind eyes to adults perving on (“flirting with”) minors on the server that they knew were minors. This should never have been allowed to happen in the first place, but these mods have proven time and time again that they do not have children’s best interests in mind. To date, as of the time that this post has been published, there have been two separate instances of adults “flirting with” minors, wanting to pursue relationships with them, and that generally being cheered on and supported by the majority of active server participants. Keffals’ Discord server needs the kind of overhaul that is a lot more comprehensive than implementing a level system which has also been conveniently used to hide channels where minors are inappropriately talked to from the public view that would otherwise result from joining.

I’ve been pointing these things out on Twitter, and so far to date I have not received a single negative message about doing so. For the most part, people don’t seem to be surprised that this is going on, and many of them have left the server — to include no longer liking Keffals herself, the streamer — for those reasons or a combination of other ones, such as how abusive the moderators are. This has already become a liability for Keffals, though… Kiwi Farms has been reporting on it. To be honest, that doesn’t surprise me.
