Neurotypicals, I know you mean well, but stop.
This is how neurodiverse people reciprocate in conversations. Attempting to stop them from doing so will make it more difficult for them to converse with individuals as it relates to certain matters. Please just stop.
Music Monday: September 28th, 2020
I’ve been a fan of Avril Lavigne’s starting when “Complicated” played on the radio and there was a stark divide between people who were “pro-Avril” and “anti-Avril”, back when people actually fought over whether or not she “was a real punk”. Those were the days. I’ve liked her since I was a teenager. And to be honest, I’m glad that we’ve moved past that point and can appreciate her music for what it is rather than argue “whether or not she is a real punk” or “whether or not she is punk enough”. Teenagers argue over the stupidest things sometimes, and I would know because I used to be one. I’m also glad I am no longer one.
At any rate, I’m glad to have stuck with her music and still consider myself a fan of her. Her music is catchy.
I thought I was the only one to remember this.
Growing up, I was hooked on the video game that came out for the Nintendo on this, and I loved the comic book series and Saturday morning cartoon that this had. For awhile, I thought I was the only one that actually remembered any of this. (Of course, it should go without saying that Jenny was my favorite, heh.)
