Since I felt like this was owed more explanation…

Some people have known about this for longer than Facebook did owing to mention that I’ve made about the traumatic experiences surrounding it that I’ve made as a content creator, but my youngest son was not conceived consensually — as a matter of fact, he was conceived by way of rape so brutal that I became disabled as a result of the actual act, and I continue to carry those disabilities and side effects from them even more than a decade later. This was something that my rapist refused to divulge to family and friends, and he went as far as to pretend to be interested in “finding Jesus” (why do people like this always lean on that as though it is some kind of crutch?), not divulging any of this to his church which put him into close contact with children who should have been able to trust him and the process of… picking these people up.

When I saw his grandmother’s friend viewing my Facebook stories followed by the one-two of his grandmother trying to follow me on Facebook, I decided that I was going to inform them of what my son’s father did to me in the way of raping me and getting me pregnant by way of rape since I had the mic in my hand and knew that they were reading what I posted. They may not like it, but I seized the chance — as the Gen Z kids like to say, I carpe’d the fuck out of that diem, which I have absolutely no regrets for. It will more than likely result in my rapist’s parents no longer being willing to pay the $264 in child support that they have paid for their adult son for an outrageously long time, although that is and remains no concern of mine.

She continues to send her flying monkeys after me on my Facebook page as though I have anything to hide.

I really should be doing these things sooner.

Listening to music from the old Tales… games lately (how do I parse that? “Tales…”? “Tales of…”?) is getting me to want to play some of the old games in the franchise, continuing to hold out hope that a few of the older ones are remade for the newer consoles even though we continue to have a lot of our old consoles and the game discs that came off of them. I’m also taking the time to go through my younger son’s video game collection as I try to do at least twice a year, because there’s no use in holding onto too many copies of some games not able to make room for others. And I really, really want to replay some of these, especially retro.
