With a lot of help, my oldest son was finally able to get my late mother’s parrot to perch on his arm!
This is my oldest son wearing the jersey that he got and I am so excited for this, I can’t even with this.
It gave us something to do, and asking Monster to socially distance himself from other people after explaining as much of that as I could worked better than I had expected. As for Bub, who is nowhere near ready, I let him play on the park behind the benches we sit on that are in front of the water. That makes it so much easier to watch both of them! (And of course, as the pandemic began to rage more, we scaled down.)
