This is a job that I do not want to have to do.

The convicted pedophile that I’ve been mentioning was only banned from Tweeting, Retweeting (RTing?) and Liking posts for twelve hours in spite of the fact that this was his second offense on that account and he’s ban evading two suspensions. Make it make sense. I’ve been seeing about alerting his local ASPCA or animal control unit because he’s stated on more than one occasion that he has a Rottweiler he’s taught to bite women and will continue to work that up until, or unless, he is once again suspended from Twitter. People are continuing to mass report him and reach out to Elon Musk’s account, Twitter Safety, and Twitter Support in the hopes that they can actually get through to a human being who reads these things, do the right thing — what their TOS mandates they do — and suspend this person so that Twitter remains safe for minors to use. I’ve also reached out to people who knew of him on one of the accounts that he had, and had gotten suspended, because the more seems to be the merrier when it comes to containing this… I’m not even sure if I should call him dude. Monster? And keep him from terrorizing or triggering other people, which he really likes to do, until he’s suspended once more. The fact that Twitter has continued not to act is absurd.

It’s often court-ordered as a condition of release from prison that pedophiles not be allowed to participate in certain activities, and some of the more commonly ordered terms state that pedophiles are not to use social media, or use social media on sites that minors can access. I’ve been trying to have a LEO get to the bottom of this by contacting the pedophile’s county criminal justice unit, but the gears are grinding extremely slow there. (Grinding, winding… whatever.) A LEO, or law enforcement official, stands the greatest chance of being taken the most seriously with this inquiry on top of what will more than likely be a wellness check on this person’s dog because of his statements about who he’s taught it to bite. Sometimes I hate doing this…

I really should have expected this at this point.

People have been mass reporting the convicted pedophile on Twitter that I wrote about in here.

We have proof of his conviction, and we have proof that he tried to appeal that conviction and failed.

So far, Twitter is sitting on their hands refusing to do anything about him, but they did silence the mandatory reporter (a friend of mine, who is a special education teacher) who saw the conversation unfolding on Twitter and entered it with some concern about the things that he had been saying about one of my children. He insinuated that the conversation was reportable on the pedophile’s end, but said something snarky at the end of his part of the conversation that Twitter chose to silence him for twelve hours for. So Twitter is quicker to act on a moment of snark from a mandatory reporter expressing concern about a convicted pedophile’s inappropriate behavior as it regards a child than they are to act on the convicted pedophile themselves, even though minors (ages 13-17) use their site and this convicted pedophile has been suspended from Twitter twice before, so he is ban evading and knows that he is. I had been considering getting Twitter Blue to help with my content creation and streaming, but I will not do so as long as a convicted pedophile is allowed to run amok on the site, and the good people who want to do something about that are prevented from engaging with the site because they engaged with him and he’s able to mess with the reporting system to get that as the desired result. No. Just no. I will save my money on that venture.

Something else that I never wanted to mention.

So… regarding my last post here about it, two people that had been on this guy’s case getting him suspended from Twitter (one of my friends, and one of his friends) came forward confirming that we had his identity and the information about his conviction correct. By the time the convicted pedophile knew that all of us had seen his rap sheet and knew what his conviction was, he stopped halfheartedly attempting to deny that he was the person on the rap sheet or the one who had that conviction. In wanting to see if I could learn more about this man’s conviction, I found out by Googling his name that he had tried — and completely failed — to have all successful parts of his conviction appealed, and that the victim in this situation was his then-stepdaughter, who informed one of her grade school teachers that… this was occurring, prompting an immediate investigation that culminated in his conviction, order to become a lifelong registrant of the child sexual abuse registry in whatever state he lived in, and to be incarcerated for five years. Seriously, though…

People continue to report this guy with all pertinent data in the hopes that Twitter will suspend what honestly appears to be his third account. We know he’s ban evading. He knows he’s ban evading as well. Minors who use social media sites are less safe when convicted pedophiles are allowed to use the site.

I can’t believe that this is actually happening.

About three days ago, I found out something that I could happily have spent the rest of my life… not knowing or having anything to do with: a convicted pedophile who is ban evading on at least two suspensions is continuing to use Twitter, and at that, he is masquerading as a dom and someone who is pro-life using those things as excuses to lash out at people who quickly start telling him to shut up and leave them alone. At this point, the only skin in the game that I have is getting this account of his suspended, and any other accounts that he may make in attempts to ban evade. But to be clear, I’ve actually seen this dude’s rap sheet. He has to stay on the child sexual abuse registry for life, was convicted of… I’m not even going to go back and look, but it had something to do with a preteen, and he can’t live or be within five hundred feet of children’s schools (how do you phrase that? elementary? elementary and secondary?). But Jesus Christ.

I’ve made a lot of awesome new friends from the other people who want him off of Twitter as much as I do, which is probably the only good thing to come of the fact that there is a convicted pedophile ban evading on Twitter. We’ve reported him to Twitter (as have other people who are not even tagged in the conversation), and we keep tagging Elon Musk, Twitter Safety, and Twitter Support like HEY LOOK AT THIS HOUSTON, WE HAVE A MAJOR PROBLEM. Pedophiles need to be banned from using social networking sites the same way those with domestic violence convictions aren’t allowed to register on certain dating sites. One can hope.

Well, it’s been an admirable effort so far…

I thought that I was going to be happy continuing to stay in the Emerald League since I found out that one of my friends had passed away on Easter Sunday, but… sometime between yesterday evening and now I’m in the top seven of the Emerald League and on track to be promoted from it unless someone manages to bump me down several places at the last possible minute (or two, or three). German has become slightly less difficult to learn as I’ve continued to make progress in it, although I continue to be a Rookie in both French and German. I’m pretty sure that I know more French and German than I ever learned Spanish two courses into high school, but that might have something to do with how horrible the district I graduated in is. With the exception of the most rudimentary things, I haven’t managed to hang onto anything that I “learned” the whole way through secondary school… and I did most of my own teaching myself, to myself, on my off time because it was like asking any of my teachers for help grievously inconvenienced them. Next year I’m sure people from my graduating class will begin planning what’s supposed to be our twenty-year reunion, and I’ve continued to make it clear that I don’t want to be invited to this because I don’t even want to be contacted by members of my graduating class. It’s actually in my permanent record at the high school that I’m not to be included in any alumni activities or contacted for reunions, or… well, contacted for any reason. The principal put that note in herself and so far, with graduation, I haven’t been contacted by anyone from my graduating class for almost all of the time I’ve spent a high school graduate. It is what it is at this point.
