I had to post this here when I took it.

I was tempted to use AI to clean up the acne that he has on his face, as well as the single solitary scratch, but decided against it at what quite possibly was the last instant because I didn’t want to have to deal with people’s opinions of AI as an emerging tool. As far as I’m concerned, there are a lot of things about it that need to be remedied in the coming months and years… but AI is capable of doing a lot of good as well, too.

I am getting closer to my surgery date!

As of tomorrow, I’ll be seeing one of the two doctors that I need to see to have sign off for my surgery.

These two doctors are a rudimentary manner of course, but this puts me one step closer to having the screw in my foot that I need to have in my foot to continue to be able to use my foot as intended… so I’m actually looking forward to it. I will be seeing the second of those two doctors early next week, and then I should have a much better idea when the surgery is actually going to be and what I need to expect going into and coming out of it! With any luck, I should be able to get a few questions answered about the kind of anesthesia that I’m going to be given as it relates to my surgery because we have to work around my epilepsy as well… I’d like to be given a regional block so that I don’t feel any pain, and twilight sedation if this can at all be managed because it will be so much more preferable to general anesthetic and it will be safer.

I’ve gotten the recent X-rays needed for surgery!

I continue not to know what tags to use on these posts, so… here’s hoping I’ve gotten it right.

As of today, I’ve gotten the X-rays that my podiatrist and the surgeon need to do surgery. They know exactly where the breaks are in my bone (breaks, as in plural tense… not having a cast put on it after this happened caused all of this, though I’m not in the mood to attempt to litigate against anyone I’ve seen for my care about this because it’s not worth my time), which will allow the surgeon to go in and put a screw into the bone that continues not to heal. Now I need to see the anesthesiologist as well as my podiatrist and I’m set!
