George Floyd’s life really did matter.

I’ve been continuing to keep an eye on the news since I found out that this happened, and I’ve been reading about the protests and the riots. I’m on the side of the protestors and the riots. This shouldn’t have happened. This shouldn’t keep happening. People may be having to take to the streets protesting and rioting during a global pandemic, but this is what clearly has to happen if we are ever going to see any real change.

Nevertheless, she persisted. Literally, she did.

So last night I got to Zoom chat with some fellow Satanists, which was really nice!

We’re thinking of making it a somewhat regular thing, we just need to figure out when it works the best for almost everyone, get more people involved, and this really could be a thing that takes off for BaphoNet and The Satanic Temple. Here’s hoping, anyway! Also, Bub was in the shot for like half the time laying on my bed playing with his iPad, then having opinions at the camera, then walking around where people could see him… which, I mean, I didn’t mind. He saw the faces on the screen and also didn’t mind that. It was like peak socialization for him, the absolute perfect kind. He could walk away at will. This surprised me in a good way.

Also, getting more politically active on Twitter waiting for my Facebook post and comment block to expire (fun fact: a political entity can not block you, at least here in the United States, if you are their constituent and you can prove that… or they are breaking a law, so I’ve been having loads of fun on the state governor’s Twitter page) has been entertaining, to say the least. We’ve been having loads of citizens of this state protest about contact tracing in a way that has been reminiscent of sovereign citizenry, and many of them have begun to make it clear that their grasp on basic science is tenuous at best. But what do I expect here?

I didn’t know that the economy was worth sacrificing more human lives over. Maybe I was too optimistic.

Do I even need to explain this block? I do?

This summer — which I didn’t know about until now — I got blocked by the casting director of a few shows, to include Big Brother, because I expressed concern over the fact that one of the HouseGuests had admitted on live feeds that prior to being cast, he was addicted to drugs (particularly Xanax), was scoring them “off of the streets”, was not procuring them legally, was also admitting that production was helping him win crucial competitions to stay in the game, and that when he was one of the show’s “Have-Nots”, he snuck potato chips into the shower away from the cameras to eat it when he was supposed to only be eating slop and we never saw the show name “Have-Nots” again. Not only did they pander to this dude and ensure that he won (and he wound up being the winner), but there was the high likelihood that he could relapse $500,000 richer, which production should seriously have seen coming. On top of that, he admitted that he lied on a lot of the questions asked of him on one of their questionnaires before he even came on the show “because they wouldn’t have cast him if he’d told the truth”, which he also said on the live feeds! He got away with all this!

Bringing up these concerns over the span of various Tweets to the casting director, along with the many other people that… you know, did this too, and expressing concern over the show’s declining quality over recent seasons just got me blocked though. Clearly production had another pet here they wanted to pay…
