I’ve been messing around with James’ RetroSnap (now I know what the name of this thing is), and I can do basic state saves on it if I’m getting the wording of this right… I just wish you could actually save in games that allow it a lot easier, but I’ll eventually memorize the button mapping for saving the state of the game on the handheld and then loading the save state without a problem. Still though, it’s a lot better than nothing, and this allows us to play some of our favorite games handheld that we would otherwise never have been given a chance to play. Based on what my kid has seen of it, he loves it, so I’m happy that he owns this…

I don’t think I’ve ever actually posted this here but it was my jam from high school so I mean, I’m going to!
James is going to love this when he gets it!

It’s taken a bit of time for me to start to learn how the controls work but I have been making progress!
I remember Blackberries being vogue before iPhones!
And I am 99% sure that I have not posted this song up here in any capacity, so… I’m going to change that.
I’m still wondering why Facebook is showing me this.

This might be more tolerable if it were Pagan or Wiccan, because as adorable, neat, and organized this looks on the surface… as the Gen Z kids seem to be saying, “this ain’t it” (or is it “that ain’t it”?). I’m sure there are still people out there that continue to hold out hope that I will “see the light” and convert to their religion or denomination of choice, or that they might see something like that as a gateway by which my kids can be indoctrinated into this, and… yeah, that’s not happening either. Sorry not sorry. Not only am I not a tremendous fan of any sort of organized religion to start with, but I don’t condone coercing kids into it.
