A series of outpatient surgeries, in surgery form.

For the sake of thoughtfulness, my gynecologist has stated that he is willing to… fight my insurance to get me a tubal ligation, “just in case”. This is something I am not opposed to him doing for a number of reasons.

It seems that he has an excellent probability of making this occur if the primary reasons for fighting them are my disability, which I gave him permission to use to try and get them to approve it, as well as “my kids being disabled” (and I only have that in quotation marks because although they are, it’s not a bad thing and will never be a bad thing). As much as I intend on moving out of Texas at some point and am definitely not staying here long-term, this isn’t a bad thing at all. It’s insurance against the fact that I’m done having children, always having considered two my happy upper limit, and I do not want to get pregnant again.

He also wants to see a referral to the appropriate specialist made regarding the sagging of some of my skin due to Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, which was only severely exacerbated by two pregnancies. This has caused an untold number of Staph infections to result entirely out of the blue, and should my youngest son injure me during a meltdown these injuries take longer to heal than he is comfortable with. He wants to see what state Medicaid is willing to cover and then go from there. I am not opposed to that either. Let’s get this done.

These procedures will probably all be done separately due to the time it will probably take for insurance to approve them (and this assumes that insurance approves all requests made to them… I know, right?).

These are just some things that I will never do.

So I’ve been making it a habit to stram as many days as I’m able to now that I’m a member of Mystic Esports (which I not only don’t mind but love), just to see if it will improve the stats that I already have. For the most part I am mixing the audio by myself to the extent that I an able in OBS, and I would say that I’m doing a fairly good job with it as I learn on my feet. I do honestly love being part of an esports organization though.

There are some things that I… do disagree on, as it relates to streaming as a whole, though.

I’m never going to have sexual streams. I just want everyone to know that the idea is completely out the window. It is not an option. It will never be an option. Being sexual on stream is just something that I do not, and will never, feel comfortable with, and I don’t want to be known as doing so. I don’t think any less of the people who do so, who make money off of doing so, but doing so is just not me. Let’s close the door on that.

Although I will never make my kids stream with me, if they come onto camera I will respond to them and give them whatever level of comfort they request. Telling me not to do so, or telling me “to shove baby in the closet”, is not and will never be an option. There are multiple reasons why I will not do this, so stop asking me to do this. I’m going to be less polite on this one. I’m probably going to be far less polite on this one.

Since it’s, well, that time of the year again…

Since it’s December now, I’ve been working on the kids’ progress notes for homeschool. I knew that I would be adding more to them before the end of the month, but I’m already partway through with Bub’s and am happy with the progress I’ve made with it so far! With any luck, I should finish writing the things that I would like to write down for Bub’s progress in a matter of days, and then I can start on his brother’s. I make use of more textbooks for Monster’s homeschool sessions, so it involves “digging” information out of those books to put into his notes that he’s covered or worked on, which isn’t particularly annoying but does take some time. Due to Bub’s younger age and more severe disability, I use less textbooks to supplement his educational need although I do use them. I’ll get to that as I get further in the process of covering their progress made.

This has gotten substantially more tolerable than it’s been in the past, although I’ve managed to keep good notes for years. I don’t have to keep them as per state law as it relates to homeschooling, but I happily supply them to the state as needed so that the kids’ disabilities continue to be documented by way of educational progress since I… don’t trust the local school district here and would not trust it for, well, shit.
