the blog of a disabled mother who likes to game, and "get in the pit"
This has been like the song that has never ended since he turned eighteen last year, though I anticipated it.

My mother continuously refused to consent to autism and ADHD testing when my elementary school repeatedly requested that of her. She made it clear that she was never going to consent to testing and they eventually gave up trying to get her to. She would then follow that up by not taking me to any more well visits, only taking me to two dental visits my entire childhood, refusing to consent to treatment the second and last time I was there, and refusing to consent to immunizations that I did not need for her to finally foist me off onto the public school system so that she had to spend less time at home with me… and even still, she managed to get several nastygrams sent to her prompting her to consent to those few. I’m glad she’s gone.

I shall politely boop the snoot and walk away to let him fully appreciate his Saturday morning in peace.

I really love how his eyes look in this one, and I’ve been considering using the boys’ first names on social media sites I don’t normally use their names on because we are one parent down in my oldest son’s case.
