Someone made this for me as a Christmas present.

It was based off of a selfie that I took and posted on Facebook (do kids, or people, even say selfie any more?). Though I commend how much of a resemblance it bears to me, I am on the fence when it comes to AI as a whole acknowledging and understanding the problematic aspects it has and will keep that in mind.

These are tentative resolutions for the year of 2026.

This list is obviously going to be open to revision, particularly if I forgot anything.

· resume learning the French language, particularly with Duolingo
· do tarot every day with at least one card, though aim for three-card spreads some of the time
· write longer blog posts that have more sustenance than some posts already written
· continue networking behind the scenes as it relates to content creation and livestreaming
· make more of an effort to read books than I have before I began to drop off on reading

Well, this only took me about a week to master.

I’ve been messing around with James’ RetroSnap (now I know what the name of this thing is), and I can do basic state saves on it if I’m getting the wording of this right… I just wish you could actually save in games that allow it a lot easier, but I’ll eventually memorize the button mapping for saving the state of the game on the handheld and then loading the save state without a problem. Still though, it’s a lot better than nothing, and this allows us to play some of our favorite games handheld that we would otherwise never have been given a chance to play. Based on what my kid has seen of it, he loves it, so I’m happy that he owns this…
