Bub’s new Steam Deck came a day earlier than I thought it would, and it functions well!

It charges, which made me so happy to see and is something that I hope holds for a very long time!

I have been putting his games on it for the better part of the day and I am excited that he is so excited that he knows he has a functional Steam Deck. Seeing my baby’s happiness brought, or given, back to him makes all of this frustration worthwhile. But he has quite a diverse game collection, so I am aware that this is going to… take awhile, and I am aware that I am going to have to choose which games are installed on the device at any one time substituting them out as needed or even just playing them on the computer because I am not going to pay for a more expensive Steam Deck if it runs the high risk of overheating or just no longer charging one day. This is something that I feel like Valve needs to fix and have fixed before I am willing to buy a more expensive Steam Deck on behalf of my son. If this were, or had been, fixed, I would consider it.
